Tokyo Marui 5.1 Hi-Capa “Rainbow Match”

As some of you may know, I used to work at a retailer that happened to be attached to a CQB site. The arena had a VERY intense layout so natrually this attracted lots of speedy bois. They would always have the ugliest looking pistols, all brightly coloured with tons of cut outs on the slide and frame. I hated them. Now as ugly as these things were, they were pretty damn snappy!

This got me thinking…

What if I threw a fair amount of money at internal parts, making a pistol that would out perform most, yet still look fairly standard from first glance.

Thus, the “Rainbow Match” was born.

This build is a monster. I have actually repeated this exact build times now with other peoples Hi-Capas and honestly, the results are amazing. I think my decision to stick with the stock, plastic slide is a big part of the success. The response and speed the thing can pump out is mind blowing…
