A new door opens…
2023 is going to be an interesting year… I have now, officially, started my own business and aim to progress it into something huge!
In this blog section on this website, you will find; updates, projects, relative news and my general thoughts on subjects that may or may not impact my line of work.
So what made me start this new venture?
I’ve always had the idea of working for myself in the back of my mind and until very recently, I never thought I would have the time to do so. Some of you may or may not know that I have worked within the Airsoft industry for quite some time now, building up many connections and making many friends within the community. My most recent place of work was a local Airsoft retailer, 308Sniper. This is the place where I really found my true passion for what I now do.
It was such an amazing opportunity to work for Lindsay and Chris at 308, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done and helped me with these past 3-4 years. Now unfortunately, all good things come to an end and in this case the end came, what felt, very suddenly. Due to circumstances out of their control, they were forced to down size. This meant that my position as Shop Manager, was no longer viable. This was devastating news me and the other team members, we are all very close and incredibly sad to see this happen to the people we consider as friend rather than boss. While this is all very dismal, I have decided to take it upon myself to turn this negative into a positive, thus the creation of WD Airsoft Limited.
What is to come…
I aim to share my passion for HPA systems with the community. I will be offering a build service to provide custom HPA replicas to people that aren’t quite ready to dive into the build process themselves. I will be offering this service along with many others, for example, I will be doing repairs and maintenance on gas operated RIFs along with upgrades for them too. I also want to eventually delve into the world of “pre-built” ready to go setups including everything you need to start your journey into the world of HPA! I have several ideas I am yet to start working on but one of those ideas is…
TWITCH!
As an added bonus, I will be streaming majority of my work and builds on my twitch channel! I thought this would be a really cool addition to the business. Whenever I have had work done on one of my replicas, I’ve always been really excited when the tech sends me over a video of the progress. Well with Twitch, You’ll be able to tune in to watch the magic happen LIVE!
The channel I will be streaming on won’t exclusively be Airsoft related, but I do want to try and make it a major focus point of the stream. I will also attempt to add other Airsoft related content to the channel I.E game play and news segments/talk shows. If this is something you’re interested in, you will find my Twitch channel Here
